Orientation Sessions
Everyone is encouraged to attend a 10 minute Orientation. The orientation will run on a continuous loop during registration hours. It will answer general questions about the Northern Neck RiverRide and will also cover the basics of safe cycling, especially in a large group. One of the primary goals of BikeWalk Virginia is bicycling education and safety. Plan your arrival at registration to include ample time for an orientation.

Terrain and Bicycle
The Northern Neck is predominantly flat. Either road bikes, hybrids, or mountain bikes are suitable. Tandems are welcome. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Bike repair services will be available for a nominal charge. Remember, for your safety, helmets are requires for all riders.
